The following is a summary of the Neighborhood Council Meetings scheduled for September 6 through September 14, 2023.

Neighborhood Council #6's (NC#6) monthly meeting is on Wednesday, September 6, at 6:30 pm in the Sunnyside School Library. Agenda items* include animal shelter, council vacancy, and neighborhood concerns. Residents interested in filling the council vacancy must be registered voters living within the Council boundaries and willing to serve the remainder of a two-year position through December 2023. Neighborhood Council #3's (NC#3) monthly meeting is on Thursday, September 7, at 6:30 pm in the Riverview School Music Room. The meeting will also be streamed live on the Council's Facebook page. Want to serve on a Neighborhood Council? While the deadline to have your name on the ballot has passed, you can still file as a write-in candidate. Below is a link to the Write-In Candidate Declaration of Intent and Oath of Candidacy. This form needs to be submitted to the Cascade County Elections Office by September 5 at 5 pm. The election for the Neighborhood Council will be held on November 7, 2023, and the 2-year term begins in January 2024. Currently, there are openings in Neighborhood Councils 2, 5, and 9.
