Free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

The City of Great Falls Public Works Environmental Division (COGF ENV) is partnering with Veolia North America to host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The location of the event is just south of the Great Falls Police Department at 112 1st St. S.

Residents can bring in antifreeze, gasoline, lighter fluid, paint thinner, road flares, shellac, fertilizer, pesticides, furniture polish, insect spray, cleaners, disinfectants, hair remover, nail polish, and more.  Unfortunately, we will NOT be accepting latex-based paint products.  If you have questions about the disposal of latex-based paint products, please contact the Environmental Division at (406)727-8390.

The goal of the Household Hazardous Waste Event is to ensure the safe and compliant management and disposal of household hazardous waste.  As such we will not be accepting waste from commercial businesses.
